The Staff at Biddeford Saco Dental Associates pride themselves in providing warm and comforting patient care.  With a large staff we are able to provide many services for our patients while at the same time creating a unique one-on-one experience while you are with us in our office.

You will be greeted by one of our front office personnel upon your arrival and any questions or assistance you may need will be addressed.  Our front office personnel have many years of experience dealing with dental insurance and will help out in any way possible with the often confusing terminology and billing codes dental insurance companies deal in.  They will help coordinate your treatment and assist with payment options.  

We have five board certified dental hygienists here at Biddeford Saco Dental Associates who have accumulated decades-worth of experience providing first-class dental treatment.  Each of our hygienists can provide everything from dental prophies to more advanced periodontal scaling and root planing.  At your first appointment, our hygienists will meet with you and learn everything they can about you that will enable us to maximize your experience with us both dentally and personally, making you feel right at home.  Once dental information has been gathered, that will be presented to our dentists and diagnoses and an individual treatment plan will be developed.  Our hygienists see the full spectrum of patients from the youngest child just teething to the mature patient.  Because different age groups have different dental needs, all our hygienists stay current with advanced continuing education seminars.  Our hygienists can place sealants, take impressions for dental whitening procedures, scale & root plane, and utilize direct placement antimicrobial agents such as Arestin.  Your comfort is our top priority and, if necessary, gentle numbing gels such as Oraquix may be placed, or in certain periodontal procedures, local anesthesia might be used.  

During appointments with our dentists, you will get to meet one of our four dental assistants.  Working together with our assistants the dentists will make sure every procedure is comfortable and pleasant as possible.  Our assistants are all well-versed in the many dental procedures we offer and will be happy to explain each step of the appointment.  In addition, they may offer headphones and a large selection of CDs to put you at ease throughout your appointment.  Each of our assistants is comfortable providing top-notch care ranging from the simplest procedures to the more advanced fabrication of appliances and temporary restorations.  The youngest patients will be made to feel like one of the family with kind smiles and a gentle touch, while our older patients will be reassured knowing our assistants stay current with advanced training above and beyond what is required.

All our staff is emergency trained for any situation that may arise and we all feel honored to provide dental service to our patients.  Please feel free to ask us about anything that may enhance your dental experience.
